In brief:

  • Our Parish welcomes St. Francis of Assisi Elementary school, opening in the Fall of 2010 at the All Hallows campus.  This continues a tradition of Catholic education in Tahoe Park and its surrounding communities, in place since 1948.  For more information, please see the Elementary Schools page.
  • For a scholarly study of the national crisis affecting urban Catholic schools, see here.
  • Chime Schedule, here.
  • Requiescat in Pacem.  We are sad to announce the death of Sister Mary Julia Patrice, BVM, beloved All Hallows Parish School teacher in the 1950s.  Sister holds the record for having taught the largest single-class ever assembled at All Hallows:  76 children in Grade Five.

Founded in 1942 (All Hallows) and 1955 (St. Peter) by priests of the Irish Republic, supported in their work by families descended from Italian, Mexican, Irish, and Portuguese immigrants, the All Hallows Roman Catholic Community continues to be an open, diverse, tolerant and aware community of believers in the Word of God made flesh in the person of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

We strive to live the Word, and we dedicate ourselves to faith, education, service and social justice.
